Hawaii
Luxury Cruise
Luxury Cruises aren¡¦t always the best way to see an exotic locale;
the single exception to this statement may well be Hawaii. The 50th
state has specialized in tourism since before World War II, and its
mid-oceanic locale makes it an ideal vacation spot for adventurers,
party heads, and amateur scientists alike. If you¡¦re a gambler and
you want to visit Hawaii, a cruise ship is probably the ideal way
for you to visit. So consider a Luxury Hawaii Cruise.
Gambling in Hawaii is illegal; you can¡¦t hold a bingo game there,
let alone a blackjack table. But luxury cruise liners hit
international waters, and aboard a ship the captain¡¦s word is law.
So if he says Roulette is ok, it¡¦s ok. Hawaiian officials aren¡¦t too
happy about it, but until they find a legal loophole, the tradition
of gambling on a luxury cruise liners isn¡¦t going to change.
Prepare to get acquainted with the ship. Most luxury cruises to
Hawaii start on the West Coast, and you¡¦ll spend more time at sea
than you will in Hawaii itself. The average trip is about two weeks,
and it takes about six days to reach Hawaii from the mainland by
ship. Still, Hawaiian cruises are cheaper than a hotel room, and
you¡¦ll get to see a lot more of Hawaii on a cruise, even if you
spend less time there total. And with an exotic locale like this,
sometimes quantity can outweigh quality. Bring a camera.
On the flip side, Norwegian Cruise Lines has a home port in
Honolulu, and they offer regularly scheduled seven day excursions¡Xso
you could fly to Hawaii to board your ship and spend seven days
sailing around the islands and stopping at various ports, without
ever having to spend an entire day in the middle of the ocean.
That¡¦s a huge plus if you get sea sick easily, but don¡¦t mind paying
for a plane ticket.
A Luxury Hawaii Cruise can range from prices as low as $450 to
$5,000¡Xjust keep in mind that you get what you pay for.
